I keep saying it. Roll the VA into AMEDD and give us their funding. Problem solved

In my Personal opinion the VA is the Enemy to every VET! It is run by civilians that rake in 6 figures while crying that their budget can not meet demands. They have been playing the appointment game for at least 30 years that I have WITTNESSED! I use to help my grandfather take vets to the VA and I would see them shuffle these men around, change there appointment times / dates to make it as inconvenient as possible. I know there are good doctors and some good civis at the VA but they are over powered by the amount of corruption, greed, and bureaucracy that is rampant in their system. Sadly the only way to combat this is through the political process, as much of the Nation view us with scorn there is little sympathy or hope it will be changed. Millennials and a large chunk of the population are more interested in getting free college, free phones, free internet, and free government money than supporting the Vets that have kept them safe their entire lives. How do you force Congress to change law, and policy when you are a minority that can not publicly protest? They have committees, and focus groups, they do probes and inquires but nothing ever changes. The Joker said it best:

"They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble"

I took an Oath to defend the Constitution I knew what that entailed, all of us in all branches are sin eaters. We do what they can not or will not to protect an idea. THE Idea that this Nation was founded on.

We are the only ones that can help! Look at your Shipmates, Squad mates, Flight, You got problems talk to your Brothers and Sisters in the Uniform. 22 of us take a dark path each day. Help each other because the Civilians wont. We are hear for each other. One Team one Fight!!!
