Turkish warplanes hit Kurdish militant PKK camps in northern Iraq: army

Should the US government stand idly by while the Turks attack one of America's strongest Middle Eastern allies in the "War of Terror" or should the US government be supporting the Turks in their efforts to eliminate that terrorist organization the PKK?
