That is a very personal picture to me. Jason was my platoons 11C. He was a great soldier and friend. Jason was killed in a firefight outside of COP Bad Pakh in Laghman Province Afghanistan in April of 2012. Jason died covering the rest of the dismounts movement back to the vehicles along with a SAW gunner with his 60mm mortar. Jason placed well aimed and effective indirect fire that day. He was struck with a ricochette on that fatefull day covering our 6. RIP my friend you are truly missed.

SGT (Join to see) - oh no don't get me wrong. She is friends with Jason's mother. I was talking about and agreeing with the article that that particular photo has been way over used by others that had no idea of Jason or his wife. Like I said it is a powerful picture but it also stinks that you can just grab a photo off of the internet and use them at will.

SGT (Join to see) - on a positive note about Jason. Modern medicine kept Jason alive for several days. He was brought back stateside and his family got to say good bye before taking him off of life support. That photo of him coming off of the plane is when his body was brought to Tennessee for burial.

SGT Jonathon Caldwell, I know. It's public information when it goes on the Internet. Most of my graphics, I made, and in the 17 years I've had my website, I've had one request to send a picture they want, to them. I'll gladly do that,,but when some of my graphics show up on other sites, I let them know about it. It won't make a difference but I can threaten them. Sorry Jonathon. It sucks.
There is an html code that can be put on a picture if you don't want it copied and saved. Of course anyone with html experience knows how to get around it. But, here it is anyway. I nee it on my Vietnam pictures. Even if she put a copyright on the picture, it won't matter to picture thieves. They know they won't be sued.
var message="Function Disabled!"; function clickIE4(){ if (event.button==2){ alert(message); return false; } } function clickNS4(e){ if (document.layers||document.getElementById&&!document.all){ if (e.which==2||e.which==3){ alert(message); return false; } } } if (document.layers){ document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN); document.onmousedown=clickNS4; } else if (document.all&&!document.getElementById){ document.onmousedown=clickIE4; } document.oncontextmenu=new Function("alert(message);return false")
