Army Now Plans to Review Tape Test Policy This Summer

I think it will help. Never liked or agreed the tape test results and seemed to really affect the soldiers that were muscular.

Thats what kept me out the 2nd time. could run a 2 mile in 13 mins but couldnt pass tape so they didn't even look at me.

It depends on what the Army decides to do. My guess is the Army will say that the tape test perfectly meets the needs of the Service, because the Army is resistant to change. If the Army decides to implement an accurate measure of body composition, though, it's likely that a lot more people will be on the body composition program, because the tape test is quite generous to overfat types who would fail an accurate measure. But an accurate measure is truly needed.
