Oscars 2016: What you need to know for tonight's Academy Awards

You want Leonardo DiCaprio to win Best Actor? Why, because he's "overdue" or you actually think that performance is worthy? Because I'll be honest - I do not see what the big deal is with him in The Revenant and just assumed he was winning because it's his "time" or something.

LT (Join to see) Fair play sir, I'd rather have seen Leonardo DiCaprio win on one of his past performances which I think are better, unfortunately Leo has the tendency to have his best performances on years that some other great actor knocks it out of the ball park. I will admit the calls for DiCaprio to win this year's oscar started long before The Revenant even came out, but that shouldn't take away his effort in the movie which was still stellar. I mean even the very fact that you weren't particularly blown away this time by his performance says alot about his ability and especially his consistency. So I guess I'll agree to disagree, because I still think that he delivered an oscar worthy performance regardless of it receiving an unworthy amount of hype.

Also if the oscar goes to Eddie Redmayne or definitely Bryan Cranston, I won't be upset.
