I am glad to learn that the officers of the 104th Precinct and the neighbors of Wilbur Hoffman did their best to help him after he had been burglarized and beaten so many times SGT (Join to see). I am glad that the city's veterans' affairs department assisted in his funeral and burial at a nearby cemetery and that members of the Queens County American Legion gave him a proper military service, saluting him as his flag-draped casket was brought out by the NYPD's Honor Guard.

Isn't that just awesome LTC Stephen F.. It's a little sad, but he was shown the respect he earned.

Thank you for sharing this SGT (Join to see). Why are people so terrible to their fellow man? My sympathies to any family he may have and also to the members of the NYPD who cared for him. I think I was locked up by members of the 104th Precinct after Vietnam!

SFC William Farrell, Why did you have sympathy for the police who took care of him? Lol
