This claim is 20 years old and has been settled. The alleged received compensation. The current lawsuit he is named in is a larger issue aimed at the University of Tennessee for allowing events like these to be allegedly swept under the rug. The fact that this happened isn't new to anyone who watched college football in 96. The only reason it is being brought up now, in my opinion, is what is stated in the article below and your post reflects it. We are more concerned with bringing down Manning and proving he isn't a good guy than we are the alleged victim.

Peyton Manning case outrage has nothing to do with alleged victim
The outrage over newly revealed allegations against Peyton Manning isn't at all about justice, so stop pretending that it is.

I think Manning is good guy. I also think what he did is kind of funny and that there are just some things that are a bit unpleasant that comes with the territory of some job descriptions. Can you imagine if I complained and try to "sue" for what I had to endure from fellow male Marines while on active duty for 12 years?! HA! What Peyton DID (not allegedly, but DID) to this lady P-A-L-E-S ( and is laughable ) in comparison to what I had to endure. I saw a Good Morning America segment this morning on this topic and just thought I would present it to the Rally Point. I am fairly new to this forum and this is only the second link I have shared.

Here is the true problem here. The title in question basically calls for a school to punish a student on another's word alone. In other words no evidence needs to be presented. The case in Florida is an example of this. The law suit there is basically the school did wrong by not punishing the student when the DA said there was no evidence for a prosecution.

oh , it's true...it did happen he put his bare privates on his trainer while she was examining him...he even mentions this very incident in his book that his dad ghost wrote, however, it was just chalked up as harmless locker room shenanigans. lol
