Army chief OKs earbuds in the gym; new policy coming soon

SMA Daily is making small changes that the average Soldier wants to see. He is responsible for my eligibility to commission this past year via tattoo rule changes. I literally owe my career to him.

Ooops my bad. I guess most of the gym rats I see every morning wearing them must have missed the memo as well. I can understand not wearing them when running on the road. But in the gym? I really don't care to hear the asinine conversations going on around me. Glad to see some common sense creeping into our regs. ;)

Um... I thought that we could already use them in the gym, but only in the gym...
