It looks like Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator Edward Byers will be the newest recipient of the Medal of Honor. Senior Chief Byers will be the first living sailor to be awarded the Medal of Honor since 1998. While I am sure it is a solemn occasion for him it is always great to see our nations heroes recognized.
