Great story. Thanks for posting it. I fancy myself a student of history and I had never heard of this man. He is an example to us all that doing the right thing crosses all cultural lines.

Thanks for posting that. I knew that the Japanese had a large Jewish community in Japan itself that was pretty much left alone (much to the German ambassador's chagrin) but I was un-aware of the Japanese Schindler. I'll definitely be seeing this film.
