Jews leave France in record numbers - CNN.com

Are the terrorist winning? French Jews are leaving France and moving to Israel or other countries, because of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, followed by other attacks specifically targeting Jewish people and finally because of the Paris attacks. Terrorism is psychological warfare, they win by changing our behaviors, manipulating us, creating fear, creating divisions and disrupting economic and commercial activity.

As the Jews continue to leave France for areas they believe are safer, the French government has tried to reassure them they are safe by taking strict measures against any antiseptic protests and placing police permanently at prominent synagogues. This has not been enough to help them to feel safer. At the Jewish Agency in Paris there has been a surge in applications for assistance to emigrate to Israel. The agency estimates 5,000 will leave this year, the highest ever.

It is disheartening to know that they have become so fearful that they are giving up their homes and lives to move so that they may live in an area they feel is safe.
