As someone who loves all things space and science, this is really exciting to me. The ability to re-use rockets will cut the costs of achieving orbit significantly, which will only speed up our space exploration. Kudos to Mr. Musk and SpaceX!

I had just missed this launch by a couple of hours. I was in Titusville visiting my parents Monday and had left to head for home. Wish I knew about the launch, I would have stuck around longer to see it, especially for a night launch.

I grew up in Titusville which is just across the Indian River from the Space Center. The night launches are awesome to watch, does not matter which rocket it is, just the Apollo and Shuttle launches are more impressive.
