I had not. However, recently my mother and step father surprised us with a visit. While here, he and I had the most in depth conversation about his time in Vietnam. I learned what units he served with and such. After they left, I began researching his military service. I found a web site for his unit. That site had pictures. As I scanned through all the pictures, I found several with him, but a different name attached to the pictures. I wrote the webmaster and told him that the posts were misplaced. You would have thought someone hit the lottery, the webmaster served with my step father. My step father took this soldier, the webmaster, under his wing when he first reported in country. This soldier attributed his survival to my step father's guidance and mentoring. Bringing those two together opened up a blocked passage they both harbored. Speaking with my step father yesterday, he told me since then he as reconnected with several other soldiers. It appears this reconnection is helping him/them with some PTSD questions/issues. So back to the question, I had not seen Echo Co. until your post, but thank you for posting. Hopefully it will reach those Marines and provide them the closure or opening that they have longed for.

I'd love to help out and pass along the link to the page to help identify those who are unknown. Please provide a link directly to that page. I visited the site and to be honest, I didn't know where to begin. GREAT information on the site, but it is hard to make sense of it all.
