"Veteran left for dead after beating at Washington Park gas station"

WASHINGTON PARK, IL (KTVI) - Surveillance cameras were rolling when a man was beaten up and left for dead at a gas station in Washington Park, Illinois. The case has now been turned over to the States Attorney Office. Two men have been charged in what police say was a violent attack.
Washington Park Police say at least three suspects viciously beat a man who is a United States veteran who served in Iraq twice. THe attack happen at a Mobil gas station in the 1400 block of Kingshighway. Police say the entire beating was caught on camera .
The suspects came upon the victim very quickly and attacked him. They left the victim motionless on the ground, bleeding and fighting for his life. The suspects fled the scene and the man was then run over by a car.
Officers tracked down two suspects. Lamarcus Evans and Earl Agnew have both been charged in connection with the beating and remain behind bars. Police are still searching for Deon Sanders. He is a person of interest in what police say was a "mob action" beating.
THe veteran survived the attack and is recovering at home. Washington Park Police say they still need help in tracking down 23-year old Deon Sanders. Anyone with information should contact police.
