Sgt Kelli Mays, Yes I know about it. I wish I had known about it when my kids went to college.

Legacy Act (Child)
Eligible Veterans may assign unused hours of exemption eligibility to a child under certain conditions.
Qualifications
A child (legacy recipient) must:
Be classified by the institution as a Texas resident;
Be the biological child, stepchild, adopted child, or claimed as a dependent in the current or previous tax year;
Be 25 years old or younger on the first day of the semester or term for which the exemption is claimed (unless granted an extension due to a qualifying illness or debilitating condition); and
Meet the GPA requirement of the institution's satisfactory academic progress policy in a degree or certificate program as determined by the institution's financial aid policy and, as an undergraduate student, not be considered to have attempted an excessive amount of credit hours.
Legacy recipients will receive an exemption for the number of degree certified hours reported by the institution for that term or semester. Maximum degree certified hours awarded to the Legacy recipient will be dependent upon the degree or certificate program in which the student is enrolled for that term or semester and shall be consistent with the program length as defined within the school catalog as approved by the regional accreditation commission. *If a child to whom hours have been delegated fails to use all of the assigned hours, a Veteran may re-assign the unused hours that are available to another child. Only one child will use Hazlewood Legacy benefits at a time.

No I had not heard of the Hazelwood Act Sgt Kelli Mays.
Since I enlisted in Pennsylvania it would have no bearing on me.
Do you know if there are other Congressional acts which are focused on other states in terms of where people enlisted and/or served in the military?

LTC Stephen F. Couldn't find anything specific for PA on tuition assistance, but I did find that the VA will help Veterans start up a business.

bill, saying:

“Recently, Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick from Pennsylvania has successfully added an amendment to rail infrastructure legislation which passed the House on March 4, 2015. Fitzpatrick’s amendment, passed as part of the ‘Passenger Rail Reform and Investment Act’, directs the Secretary of Transportation to conduct “a nationwide disparity and availability study on the availability and use of certain classes of small businesses – including veteran-owned businesses.”

The American Legion believes that this is a crucial step in leveling the playing field for our veteran small business owners that are not currently eligible to go after these set-asides.

Fitzpatrick has introduced the bipartisan Fairness to Veterans for Infrastructure Investment Act which seeks to add veterans as a separate category of small businesses they can use to meet their 10 percent goal. The American Legion and numerous other Veteran Service Organizations support this bill and asks again for this Committee’s support this summer when Congress reauthorizes the federal highway bill.”
