We buy frozen bread dough and bake it with sesame seeds on top. No store bread beats it fresh from the oven.

Where do you buy frozen bread dough? Is this something that Food Lion/Walmart sells? Please excuse my naivety here.

PO1 (Join to see) - I get mine at the local Food Lion, Kroger carries it, but we like FL's better. Prices out a little lower, but the effort is worth it.

I go to the second day bread store and buy 100% organic for $.99 a loaf and freeze it.....If you want to pay $4.00 + for a loaf....go ahead.

What bothers me about most store-bought bread is that it is so soft and flimsy. When you put together a sandwich the bottom slice shouldn't flop down. Almost have to get bakery bread or make your own to get bread that stands up to sandwich ingredients.
