Will likely result in letter of censure and nothing more by TECOM CG. Adverse Fitrep also but I don’t think that matters at this point. He was a command screened LtCol, so he was a rising star. I don’t think CMC wants a CM as that would be a PR nightmare for CMC.

Seems he can't stay out of the spotlight. Does he want a court martial? It sounds as if he has determined his own guilt.

He already sent in a request to SecNav for resignation, dtd Tuesday. It had some career-limiting/ending comments on failed leadership and loss of confidence. They don't have to accept it. Unlikely since they allegedly started an Art. 32. Stand by for heavy rolls. A psych eval might be in order. He truly made a statement. Actions have consequences.

I am not a JAG, nor do I play one on TV. I did pass the Facebook Bar. It all depends upon whether or not the USMC does not accept his resignation. If accepted, he is beyond reach of UCMJ.
