Great unit! Man we were tight. Had some crazy times and also some not so good ones but we held tough. Some things you never forget and my time with MABS 32 I can't forget. I hope one of my old brothers sees this.

USS Guadalcanal
Worst float ever. Mid to North Atlantic. Never saw land. Only good thing was working in the Officers galley. They ate better. Also developed a fear of sharks. I had to throw food scraps over board. We fed those damn things 3 times a day. I thought if I fell off the ship, can they tell the difference between a bag of food scraps and me? Good times
