OK, so lets get this out there. I am not proud of it, but it happened. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that totally destroyed two Army 5 ton trucks. I was the driver in the rear, that hit the other truck at about 40 to 50 miles an hour, yes, it hurt, a lot, but I survived. Army trucks are tough, and so are the drivers, apparently.
Anyway, I was Court Martialed, reduced to E-1 and lost two months pay. The funny thing is, the S-1 guys knew that I got sort of screwed in the whole process and all things related to the CM were somehow lost. It's not in any files, anywhere. I never lost any pay,other than being reduced to PVT and starting over. I grew up a lot in a very short time, and learned a very valuable lesson.
