Battalion S4 Logistics NCOIC
As the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Battalion S4 section, I supervised eighteen employees to ensure the proper management and accountability of over seven hundred million dollars of government property. I forecasted, allocated, and administered the execution of a thirteen million dollar annual operating budget. I coordinated the procurement and management of resources to support four hundred employees during operations throughout the world. I reviewed and validated current and future equipment authorization documents. I formulated and executed equipment authorization change proposals. I routinely conducted assistance/inspection visits to subordinate units to ensure their compliance with established logistics management procedures.

Senior Supply Sergeant
As the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Battalion Logistical Operations section, I supervised four employees in the forecasting, procurement, and allocation of all equipment, facilities, services, and resources necessary to support a four hundred employee workforce during worldwide deployments. My duties included extensive travel to attend mission planning conferences, formulate Statements of Work and Statements of Requirements, and coordinate the use of host area/nation facilities and equipment. I formulated requirements for, managed, coordinated, and monitored the execution of an annual average of over seventy-five large government contracts for lodging, transportation, and various other services.

As the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Battalion Technical Supply section, I supervised six employees in the requisitioning, receipt, storage, issue, and turn-in of aircraft repair parts. My duties included the management of a two thousand item storage and distribution facility and the execution of a ten million dollar annual operating budget by forecasting requirements, allocating funds, and ensuring proper fiscal discipline by maximizing turn-in credits.

Unit Supply Sergeant on a separate Kaserne in the middle of beautiful downtown Bayreuth with my own CIF and fuel point. The locals really loved our frequent early morning alerts with all the tracked vehicles (CEVs, AVLBs, 113s, 577s) making a racket.

As the S-4 NCOIC and later acting S-4 OIC for the 2nd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), I served as the Battalion's key logistical planner and as the JSOACC (Joint Spec Ops Avn Component Command) J-4 during the planning and pre-execution phases of Operation Uphold/Restore Democracy.
