Isaac Helgens

I was in the highly unusual position of a Delayed Enlistment Program in the late '90s for the Iowa National Guard. I drilled, attended training, I completed a Pre-BCT program at Camp Dodge, I was awarded by our CO for being active in recruiting programs and visits, and then I got put on Ritalin which made me ineligible (at that time apparently) to go to BTC. I was crushed and left with an ELS.
