Bio
Joined USMC right out of high school. After completing training was assigned to Marine Detachment USS Ticonderoga CVS-14. Made a West-Pac voyage during the 1972 Easter Offensive in Vietnam to support combat operations against the communists with the Seventh Fleet. After leaving Marines I took a six year break, joined the Army Guard for eight and a half years and went back active duty Army AGR. Was preparing to retire and Big Army ordered me to make one more deployment. Served a year in Operation Iraqi Freedom, DEROS'd home, and retired.
