Bio

I retired from working for the Dept of the Navy working on their P-3 Prop program at Cherry Point, NC I was a deputy sheriff for over 10 years and have lived all over this country, I live in the most peaceful place in this country, at least that I've found.

Military Experiences

Jan 1966 - Jun 1967
Prop Mechanic
I wrenched on O-1 E's , O-1 F's , O-2's , A-1E's, T-28'S, U-10'S, A-26'S, AC-47's, and C-123'S Those wretched propellers until you needed ordinance kill close. It was fun and fulfilling, my first 2 years were at Travis, I was there when the Vietnamese war started. We went to 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week, but the pay was good, I think someone calculated that we made something like 22 cents an hour. LOL
