Squad Leader, First Platoon: Platoon Commander
Our platoon was activated to provide bridging capabilities and convoy security for the 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade during Desert Shield/Storm. I was a squad leader during this deployment and we provided rear area security, convoy security and assisted with explosive ordnance disposal in Kuwait City.
