Chief Public Affairs
Ran the public affairs office at this new GLCM base. Worked with the US Embassy in Brussels and Belgian Ministry of Defense of public affairs policy. "Hob nobbed" with various community members to ensure good relations between the base and community and worked with media throughout the command and area on public affairs issues. Learned how to drink wine early in the morning with local mayors (it would offend them if I didn't have an aperitif with them) without actually drinking much of it.

In charge of the wing public affairs duties to include internal communications, media relations, and community relations. Conducted a lot of tours of the base and planned two base open houses. Worked with the media and community during one high profile murder case that a base member committed. Great tour!
