While working in Iraq as leader of a Reconstruction Support team located and identified local Construction Contractors to carry out projects ranging from the construction and refurbishing of schools and medical facilities to the construction of improved roadways and personal facilities on U. S. Military compounds. Worked as a member of an Emergency Management team in Kuwait prior to outbreak of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In this assignment helped to conduct evaluation of Kuwaiti Military and Civil Service capability to respond and manage man-made and natural disaster.
