Bio

Joined in March, 2006 as a 12B. Had OSUT at Ft. Leonardwood in G Co., 35th EN BN. After graduation, I was stationed at Ft. Bragg with the 27th EN BN. Was then deployed to Afghanistan from August 2006 to April 2007. Deployed again in December 2009 to December 2010, when I was injured by an IED on mission. After the deployment, I PCSd to and medically retired from Ft. Lewis due to those injuries.

Military Experiences

Mar 2011 - Apr 2013
562nd EN Co
Squad Leader
Was put into a squad leader position until it was realized that I would be getting medically retired due to the injuries sustained during my last deployment. After that, I was still designated a Squad leader, however I was moved to the company's Read Detachment Platoon until my retirement orders were finalized.
Jul 2007 - Mar 2011

I became a team leader as a PFC initially, even though a few of my subordinates actually outranked me. I remained a team leader and a dismount squad leader through my second deployment.
