My deployments include relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina, OIF 06-07, and OIF 08-09. I was a paratrooper with A Battery 1-319th AFAR for 7 years until I was medically separated for back injuries and mTBI for which I was awarded a Purple Heart Medal from an IED in Ad Dawr, Iraq.
