Trainee, after receiving surgery for dislocating shoulder at Balboa Naval Hospital, was was put incharge of Marine and Naval recruits and directed daily duties while recovering from various injuries. Received Honorable Discharge from Marine Corps in April 1973 as MOS 9900 Basic Marine.
