Bio

Former enlisted US Marine, 1981-85. I was a percussionist in the Parris Island Marine Band. After the Marine Corps, I became an ER nurse, and eventually a Nurse Practitioner. 9/11 happened while I was in NP school, so I chose to come back in to the Navy Reserve to help care for Marines. I am still a drilling reservist, with 26 years' total service so far.
