After boot camp i got sent to Mechanics School in Port Hueneme CA. There i learned basic engine repair on Fire Trucks and General Purpose Vehicles. After about a year in school, i got stationed in Malmstrom AFB Great Falls MT. At this base we were 341st Transportation Sqdrn. We were with the Armed Calvary to assist if the Neuclear transport broke down we had to be there to fix it. It was awesome!

We were the Mechanics that rode with the calvary to deliver and transport the Minute Men to the LF of the LAF. Also to recover any wrecked or disabled vehicles coming from these sites in the mountains

We learned all components and functions of a Diesel and Gas engines. We also learned how to read schematics for Fire Truck wiring ( P-19, P-23,.. ect..)
