Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Accountable Officer for the ASP at Bagram, $129 million in assets for the 495th, CSSB Kalispell, Montana (NG). Oversee ASP operations. Prepared for the biannual ammo inspection & relicensing process. One night in my office I had mild stroke-like symptoms (Army doctor's words) & was sent stateside. Not the way I wanted to end my military career.

Initially in Qatar w/ the 4th ESC (AR), San Antonio, TX, oversight to Ammo Ops in AFG, with the assistance of QASAS we did ammo inspections & ammo reclamation activities. Enough ammo was recovered to more than pay the cost of QASAS travel. Then moved to Bagdad (Union III) oversaw the I(C)TEF (Iraqi Counter Isis Training Equipping Fund) Ammo.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Brigade Ammo Warrant Officer for the 90th Sustainment Brigade (AR) North Little Rock, AR. Then reassigned to the 36th SUS BDE (NG) Austin, Texas as the Active Duty Command (ESC) had off-ramped the 90th SUS BDE before the end of their rotation. I was able to stay due to an opening w/in the 36th Sustainment BDE b/c their Ammo WO had to redeploy.

Initially, inspecting ammo to put back into the bunkers for the 295th OD CO (AR), Hastings, NE in order to be reissued since there wasn't enough of those DODICs (DoD ID codes - types of ammunition) in country. Assist with a handoff of the ASP from Army assets to civilian contractors. Then setting up and operating an Amnesty program in Kuwait.
