Studied auto and diesel repair in high school, worked as mechanic for a year, then joined Marine Corps where I served as an Avionics Tech, which I have also practiced at Boeing. Had 4 year hiatus during which I studied CIS at college and worked on Boeing computers for awhile before returning to airplanes. Aspire to get pilot's license in next 3 years. Member of IAM751 since 1988.
I lead a team of Aircraft Test Technicians at the Boeing Company in Everett, WA. Company need more techs with military-grade training, both avionics/electrical and mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulics. I do not make hiring decisions, but I have access to people who do. I will do what I can to advise/assist any veteran that contacts me desiring to take his/her military training and turn it into a good civilian paycheck. Drop me a line. Semper Fi
Military Experiences

Avionics Technician
Performed I-level maintenance activities on Navigation, Communication, Electronic Warfare equipment for EA-6A Intruders. Meritorious promotion to PFC due to academic performance during A school. Ironically, received Sgt promotion in-the-mail after I was released along with my Honorable Discharge certificate. If anyone tells you that a person can't become a Sgt of Marines through the mail, well, yes you can.
