Enlisted young, 15 yrs old. Corps thought Inwas 17. Mostly financial causes. I totally enjoyed the Corps and would have stayed in for 40. I was discharged in a medical due to a service connected injury and that toad Carter destroying the military in the late 70's . Major cutbacks they were ridding the Corps of any and all SNCO's and NCO's that they could. I never had nothing less than an outstanding fitness report and was able to pass the PFT.
