Bio
I enlisted in 2003 as an Infantryman. My whole career was spent at Ft. Hood, TX with the 1st Cavalry Division. I deployed to Iraq 2004-2005 with 1/5 Cav & 2006-2007 with 3/8 Cav. I was wounded during my last tour and was medically retired in 2009. I now live in Dallas, GA with my wife & 3 kids.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Deployed with A Co 3/8 Cav, 1CD as a Bradley crewman to the city of Balad. We were based out of FOB Paliwoda. Our area of responsibilty was part of the city as well as the outlying area to the east, including the infamous Jabori Peninsula. I was wounded by an IED on 14 Feb 2007, and those wounds led to my eventual medical retirement.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Deployed with C Co 1/5 Cav, 1CD as a Bradley crewman. During the deployment, we participated in the Battle of Najaf, the 2nd Battle of Fallujah, and the first free election by providing security in the city of Babel.
