I trained but was never deployed. God had other plans for me though. Now I am serving the Lord as a Lutheran pastor, Fire Department Chaplain & CAP (USAF Aux) Chaplain.

Cadet
I took Military Science I-III. We drilled in Leadership Lab, did PT in the mornings, Weekend FTXs at Ft. Dix, Ft. AP Hill, and APG. Competed against other ROTC Ranger Challenge Teams. I was first squad leader on our Ranger Challenge Team. I jumped out of perfectly good C-130s and C-141s. I did Color Guard at events, tried to recruit High School students and other college students. Did a lot of Land Nav, D&C, and First Aid.
