Served at US Embassies in Canberra, Australia; Riga, Latvia; and Beijing, China. Provided internal security to protect US Embassy personnel and prevent the compromise of classified materials. Served as the assistant commander of Marine Security Guard (MSG) detachments Riga and Beijing. Responsible for leading tactical teams in emergency response, defense, and combat scenarios. Acted as direct liaison to operational command in US State Department Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Coordinated security augmentation with Diplomatic Security for Secretary of State visit to Beijing, China. Provided physical security for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State John Kerry, and President Barrack Obama.
