Bio
Military training and experience gave me confidence and a sense of purpose of social service. After Vietnam, I joined National Guard, became a firefighter, trained EMT. worked 18 years in Law Enforcement. Now at 72 years old, I research Veterans services for people who may have fallen through the cracks.

Tank Commander
Because of my E5 status, when I transferred to Nevada, they made me a tank commander. I didn't know beans about tanks! I had a wonderful crew, and they carried me through drills.

Nuclear Team Leader
Trained as one of the Nuclear Team security for the artillery unit.
Jul 1967 - Jul 1968
Lima Infantry squad Leader
Advanced in the squad as rifleman, carried M-14, M-16, Blooper, and an AK47 for a while. Was designated the man to call for accuracy with the LAW, and carried the Demo bag. Worked point often.
