Army Infantry Officer and fixed-wing aviator. Flew the O-1 "Birddog" in the Central Highlands of Vietnam (1968-69) as a Recon-FAC. ETS 1971 to finish a BS in Ed (Zoology/Botany). Retired 22 years as water quality Lab Director in 2000. Now own/operate ESD Water, an online water treatment products retailing business.

185th Recon Airplane Co. | Ban Me Thuot, South Vietnam

Low-n-slow recon in Darlac Province, Central Highlands, S. Vietnam. Operated out of Camp Coryell, Ban Me Thuot as callsign Pterodactyl-33 and Cheo Reo as calllsign Pterodactyl-27.
