Bio
Lieutenant Colonel Holmes initially entered the USAF as an enlisted member in October 1986. He was commissioned in 1996 after completing his B.S. degree in meteorology at the University of Utah. Lt Col Holmes rejoined the USAF shortly thereafter and ended an enjoyable career in Jan 2012 after ~22 years of service. Presently, Lt Col Holmes works as a Flight Director for NOAA’s Hurricane Hunters.
