Charged with parts acquisition and inventory control, oversight and maintenance of shop deployment inventory as a Sgt E-5, position was slated for an E-6, had a Cpl E-4 as assistant. Previous assignments were within MOS 6412, Jet Engine Mechanic and involved both engine maintenance and flight line duties. H&HS MCAS Beaufort, '63-'64. Deployed to Iwakuni, Japan VMGR 152, '64-'65 and involved with early ground supply support and inflight refueling operations Viet Nam. MCAS Beaufort H&MS 32, '65-'66.
