I've been a mechanic, skilled laborer, heavy highway laborer, Heating and Air tech, haven't retired, but service connected problems with my back and neck have kept me grounded. I don't miss the Army at all, I just miss some of the camaraderie, shared misery, bad food, sh** house lawyers, PT, training subordinates, deployments, okay, there was more good than bad so I guess I do miss it a little.

Wasted almost a year building up FOB defenses, only to learn that the base was closing.

A gunner for a TMT running from Al A sad to Kuwaiti and all points in between, including but not limited to Ramadi, Fallujah, Hit, FOB Kalsu, Cedar 2, and Scania. Also did construction work when it was supposed to be down time.
