Bio

In my 24 1/2 years in the Army (1983-2007), I spent 15 years in the Infantry and rose to SFC. I was selected for Drill Sergeant duty as an E6, I loved this job and made an impact on many soldiers. I was medically re-classed to transportation in 97. I made E8 the following year, served as 1SG in 40th Trans, OPS SGT in two units with two combat tours. I enjoy retirement but miss the unity. After retiring from the Army, I worked several Government contracts, the most rewarding being part of the Counter IED Mobile Assistance Training Team (CMATT). We trained units preparing for deployment on Counter IED measures. I also spent six months working directly under the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). Here I was able to contribute to the full DOD efforts to defeat the IED. Now, I relax and spend time w/family
