By my experience in the military and out of it, I have been encouraged to involved myself in non-profit Organizations, Forums, etc. to help those who cannot help themselves with a primary focus on Veterans. My goal is to help bring a better understanding of PTSD to the general community with an emphasis on joint-military spouses who both suffer PTSD and the effects that it can have on family.
