I have worked with veterans of all backgrounds within the Dept of Veterans Administration. My last appointment was with the VA in Wyoming, Michigan where I served as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant. I love this job! Problem solving, diversity and interaction on all levels was the most gratifying of all aspects. After leaving the Army, I was lost. I ended a career due to medical reasons and went back to college. I earned my BBA in business in 17 months! I worked at SSA and then transferred to the VA. I loved my job at the VA. I transferred to an out of state position that did not work with my family obligations. I am mom to 3 awesome children (2 sons, and a daughter) and 7 grandchildren. I live in southwest Michigan and would not have it any other way.
