I served in the US Army for 15 years. Suffered from Back Surgery and had to take a Medical Discharge. I was given an opportunity by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and retired after serving for almost 22 years. Retired and enjoying life!!! Started with the Federal Bureau of Prison in Feb 1990, as a Cook Foreman. Was responsible for training and supervising inmates, with the preparation and serving prepared meals to the inmate population. Promoted to Assistant Food Service Administrator and then to Food Service Administrator. With overall responsibility of the Food Service Operations. I was also a Certified Hostage Negotiator for the Agency!!! Retired as a Training Instructor.
