GM of car dealership after years of hard work. After being force reduced in 93, I didn’t qualify for any and every position I applied for with civil service. But I sure did see a lot of 18 year old/non-former military people getting these positions I couldn’t qualify for. Even after doing almost 5 years in the Corps. It taught me that it was who you knew, not what you knew. It worked out still.
