Captains Gig Coxswain, and earned my ESWS.

I found my love for underway replenishment on this ship! It's all we did from sun up to sun down while deployed. Working in concert with international ships was a valuable learning experience.

BM3 on USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72. Second Division again. Arrived in the gulf at the end of Desert Storm.
Evacuated servicemen and dependents after Mt. Pinatubo erupted then on to Singapore and Hong Kong before hitting the gulf. Visited Dubai three times and came home. The thing I remember most about this cruise is standing BMOW.. Endless watches!

Final deployment USS Iowa BB-61. I was in Second Division and was part of the Captains Gig Crew.
It was an amazing cruise, we visited more ports than on the rest of my cruises combined!
