I was a cook with the 184th MI (AS), 6th Army, Ft Lewis, WA; across from Grey Army Airfield. Also 411 Trans Co, Ft Lewis, also 109th AVN Co, Ft Lewis, WA - All within Aug 1969-Aug 1971.

81st RRC, 387th Trans Det, Theater Opening Element
Med evac'd to 106th Army Hospital, Yokohama, Japan (via several in-country MASH units) for reconstructive surgery in June 1967. Sent home to Clarkston, WA in August 1967, for recuperation (sometimes I wonder; recuperation from injuries, or the surgery).
