Nate Hurn was born and raised in the Peoria, IL area. After high school graduation, Nate enlisted in the US Army and worked as a special electronic devices repairman. After the Army, Nate graduated from Illinois Central College, with his Associates Degree in Political Science. In 2002, while working on his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Illinois at Springfield, Nate began his internship for US Congressman Ray LaHood.
